In the second Foundations for Literacy lesson featuring an r-controlled vowel, you’ll use Oreo cookies to anchor your students’ learning about o-r saying /or/. The students will enjoy an Oreo cookie (as you read Corduroy aloud), play Bingo, and even use flashlights to “highlight” the o-r’s in the words you place around your space for them to decode.
