E-w says /ew/ (like in chew) or /you/ (like in few). You’ll share this spelling of these sounds as well as the motion, so your kids are quickly decoding words like grew, newspaper, and renew. You’ll also teach your students to remember the tricky words tough, though, thought, through, thorough, and throughout.
